it has a been a busy week-lifestyle and sports have intersected again....the more stuff happens...the more it seems like deja vu.....
How do you stop Tiger.....fuck with him off the course....don't have too much to say, other than...was there any other play to be made here...prob not....especially since him and his employer (PGA) are on the same page-see comments below....so the best to him and his family....look forward to his return to playing Golf.....
From his Sponsors:
- "As Tiger takes a break from the public eye, we will support his desire for privacy by limiting his role in our marketing programs," Gillette said in a statement.
- AT&T endorsed Woods' decision to step back from golf, the company noted Friday, "We are presently evaluating our ongoing relationship with him."
- "Tiger has been part of Nike for more than a decade," Nike spokeswoman Beth Gast said. "He is the best golfer in the world and one of the greatest athletes of his era. We look forward to his return to golf. He and his family have Nike's full support."
- "This is the greatest fall from grace, in my opinion, of anybody in sports history," ABC News sports consultant and USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan told "World News" Saturday. "Tiger was such a cultural icon, crossing over from sports into society in such a big way."
From the PGA:
- "We fully support Tiger's decision to step away from competitive golf to focus on his family," said a PGA Statement, which the AP attributed to Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem. "His priorities are where they need to be, and we will continue to respect and honor his family's request for privacy. We look forward to Tiger's return to the PGA Tour when he determines the time is right for him."
AI's return....love the fact he is back to playing basketball....I am an alum of the same university as AI and on the strength of that connection and more importantly support for a warrior without a home...it was nice to see the 76ers embrace him, and nice to see his humility...Philly is a tremendous city.....look forward to watching AI...and more importantly meeting him one day to share..
On a personal note went to buy some skinny jeans...let's put this in perspective....I am not the 7% body fat of years past....I am an aging ex-athlete...with some wonderful workouts still left in the tank.....totally unlike AI..I am a warrior not looking for a home.....

If the other golfers would really like to slow him down so that they can win a tournament or two, they'd better find a blonde set of twins to do everything in the sack to him but turn him upside down. That might tire him out sufficiently to knock his game down a notch or two.
ReplyDeleteSo the way I see it, the Barbie Twins or some hoochies like them are Phil Mickelson's, Steve Stricker's, Lee Westwood's, Padraig Harrington's and Jim Furyk's best hope (I had to google that, I'm no fan).
